What is Laughter Yoga?

Description:
Participants will join a wellness social in partnership with the Orange County Queer Chamber of Commerce (OCQCC), with Laughter Yoga facilitated by Rainbow Career Coaching. We’ll meet at 8:30 AM for a 30-minute guided Laughter Yoga session (8:30–9:00 AM), followed by coffee + light breakfast pastries/fruit and social/networking time (9:00–9:45 AM). Then we’ll then do a 30-minute, light beach clean-up (gloves and trash bags provided) (9:45 AM - 10:15 AM) and finish with a quick pack-out to leave the area better than we found it (10:15 AM - 10:30 AM).
Additional Details
What to Wear: • Comfortable clothes you can move in (athleisure recommended) • Layers for coastal weather • Closed-toe shoes or sturdy sandals you don’t mind getting sandy. • Sun protection encouraged (hat/sunscreen). What to Bring: • Water bottle • Sunglasses • A towel/blanket to sit on. • Coffee and light breakfast pastries/fruit will be provided (while supplies last).
Parking/Transportation: • Meet at Tower 74 at the Santa Ana River Mouth (7004 Seashore Dr, Newport Beach, CA 92663). • Street parking only and it can fill up quickly. • Please arrive early to find parking and allow time to walk to the meetup spot. • Carpooling is encouraged. Accessibility: • Requires a lot of walking or standing for extended periods (1+ hours) • Must be able to walk short distances on uneven ground • Involves repeated bending • Seating available during activity Restrooms: • Gendered
